The bamboo fabric is crazy soft, way lighter than my old cotton pairs, and the waistband doesn't dig in at all. Wore them through a nine-hour workday and forgot I had them on.
I wasn't sure about the ruffle detail but it actually sits flat and doesn't bunch under leggings. The waistband has just enough stretch that nothing digs in, even after a full day of wear.
